This is the what-the-buck moment a goat is left swinging after its horns snagged a power line while it was in an open transporter lorry.
The triple-decker lorry was too high so when it drove under low-hanging power cables the goat’s horns were hooked up, according to local media.
Bizarre video footage shows the goat swinging backwards and forwards in the air as it waggles its legs on a rural road in the village of Kutikh, in the Charodinsky district of Dagestan, Russia
A spokesperson for the administration of the Charodinsky district told local media: “The three-tiered vehicle was too high. The wires are low there.
“People who live in our district know that it is not worth driving there with such vehicles.
“They came to us from the Levashinsky district to buy goats, sheep.”
The stricken animal survived after it was rescued and lowered to the ground, say local media reports.
Now a repair team is working in the region to lift the cables higher.
Social media users were quick to comment on the baffling accident.
One netizen called ‘Vadim’ said: “It decided to ride on the swings.”
While another going by ‘Grigory Makeev’ asked: “How is this possible? His horns are bent in the wrong direction – or did he jump backwards?”
And ‘Olga F.’ joked: “Freedom was so close! lol”
‘Oksana’ said: “Escape failed!”
