Famous Italian Chef Stung While Bringing Flowers To Mother’s Grave

A famous Italian chef has died after being stung by a wasp while bringing flowers to his mother’s grave.

Pavel Marc, 47, was stung by a wasp on Friday, 26th July, and died at the Cattinara hospital in Trieste.

In 2012, he had created a famous pumpkin cappuccino with an edible cup in which toasted almonds and slices of foie gras were intertwined.

He went into anaphylactic shock after suffering a severe allergic reaction.

The man had gone to the cemetery to visit his deceased mother: he wanted to lay flowers on her grave. It was there that he suffered the fatal wasp sting.

The chef from Trieste has received several awards throughout his career, with his fame and recognition stretching even beyond the Italian border.
