Devoted pet dog faithfully following its owner all the way to the hospital to ensure he is well.
Smartphone footage recorded in the central Chinese province of Hubei, showed the pet, in the company of another dog, entering the local clinic to check on its owner on 19th February.
Reports indicate that the man, grappling with a high fever, was urgently brought to a medical facility several kilometres from his residence for necessary treatment.
Despite the distance, the faithful dog steadfastly accompanied the man to the clinic to ensure his well-being.
The clip prompted many positive reactions after it was shared on China’s version of TikTok, Douyin, later that day. It left netizens unable to refrain from commenting.
Douyin user ‘Love money, love yourself’ said: “Dogs are the most loyal.”
Then user ‘It’s hard to lose weight’ commented: “Seeing them timidly running in, they must have spent a lot of courage looking for you.”
And ‘Sambo is a husky’ added: “The dog was like ‘You forgot to feed me.'”
The video has reached more than 170,000 likes and another 19,000 shares on the platform as of 21st February.
