Police and firefighters rescue a deer that was found stranded in the middle of a large frozen pond.
The animal was reportedly discovered trapped dozens of feet away from shore on Harris Pond, in the US state of New Hampshire, on 9th January.
Emergency workers reportedly used an inflatable raft to venture out onto the frozen pond to reach the stranded animal.
Phone-shot footage shows crews on land then pulling the raft by a long rope, slowly pulling along the deer to safety.
One still image taken moments later shows two emergency workers carrying the injured animal in their arms across the snow on shore.
