Deadly Cartel Airdrop Wanted Leaflet For Rival Gang Boss

Members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel have airdropped leaflets offering a reward of over 200,000 GBP for information leading to the capture of a rival cartel leader.

According to local media, the leaflet features a photo of Francisco Maldonado Busto, alias Don Jose, who is the suspected leader of the La Familia Michoacana Cartel which mainly operates in the Mexican states of Michoacan and Guerrero.

In the leaflet, members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) have offered a reward of five million MXN (200,300 GBP) for information leading to the capture of Maldonado Busto.

Reports said the leaflets were airdropped from a plane in several municipalities in the area.

The leaflet says ‘wanted dead or alive’ and includes information on the reward and places where Maldonado Busto may be hiding.

It also said there will be rewards for information leading to the capture of Maldonado Busto’s three brothers, Charo, Cirilo and Chico.

The leaflets included a telephone number and the logo for the CJNG.

In the description, it states that Maldonado Busto betrayed the leader of the Gulf Cartel, Guillermo Abeja alias El Guero, as well as Francisco Vargas ‘Paquito’ of the Sinaloa Cartel, previously led by drug lord Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman.

In a recent video, the CJNG announced its arrival in the municipality of San Lucas in the state of Michoacan where La Familia Michoacana Cartel mainly operates.

In the video, the heavily-armed CJNG also issued a warning to Maldonado Busto.
