This is the moment a laughing snowplough driver speeds after a terrified deer sprinting down a motorway shortly before appearing to hit the poor creature.
The cruel scene took place in the south-eastern Russian city of Vladivostok in Primorsky Krai and was recorded by the driver on the Sedanka-Patrokl motorway.
In the video, a terrified roe deer can be seen sprinting along the side of the road as the laughing snowplough driver pursues it.
The animal is sprinting in fear of the vehicle as the driver laughs and says “Hey! Where are you hurrying?! I’m driving at 60kph (37mph).”

The sprinting deer then crosses the road in front of the snowplough as the driver speeds up to keep up with it.
The man then honks his horn and laughs at the deer but the terrified animal ends up running into the vehicle’s path.
The driver then comes to a halt after he appeared to hit the deer and the animal can then be seen sprinting away from the scene, seemingly uninjured, according to local media.
According to reports, the area of the motorway where the scene took place was closed for cars that night as ‘Maintenance of Urban Areas’ staff were clearing the snow.
The press service of the Vladivostok city hall confirmed reports that an internal investigation has been launched into the case.

Netizen ‘Alexander Kalashnikov’ said: “A mindless man is driving and shooting this scene – the reaction to the animal is stupid and degenerate.”
Another internet user named ‘Alexander Georgievich’ said: “How stupid you must be to chase an animal like this.”
