This footage shows a roasted pig’s head hanging from the door of an Islamic community centre and mosque that was planted by people who sped past in a van.
The incident took palce in Vaihingen an der Enz which is located in the south-western German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg and happened in the middle of Ramadan, one of the holiest times of the year for Muslims.
According to the police, the alleged perpetrators drove up to the Turkish-Islamic community centre and mosque in a van, got out and hanged the pig’s roasted head from the front door handle.

Two cameras are set to have caught the criminal act on film with the footage handed over to police. The van was reportedly that of a local painting company from the nearby city of Stuttgart.
At around 12:30am, members of the Islamic centre reported the incident to the police.
The police have arrested two suspects, who have not been named due to strict local privacy laws, but told local media that the painting company had nothing to do with the criminal act.
The police investigation is still ongoing and it is unclear if the suspects have been charged.
