China Reportedly Discovers Submarine Detectors Dropped By US Military Aircraft In South China Sea

China claims submarine probes are being dropped by United States military aircraft into the South China Sea.

The allegation was made by Yuyuan Tantian, which is a social media account affiliated with Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.

The US military aircraft were spotted over the waters of the South China Sea and continuously dropped “unidentified items” downwards which Yuyuan Tantian described as submarine probes.

China’s Coastguard salvaged and checked an item, and a video released on the account showed to confirm what they were. The exact date of the recording was not revealed but it was reportedly recently. The video itself was released on Wednesday, 26th June.

Online commentators like ‘Fleeting Time’ said: “Who allowed it to fly in our airspace?”

And user ‘Staring Into Space’ said: “Fish it out and throw it back, so that it can recognize the noise of its own submarine and then attack the source of its own sound.”

While the user ‘Indigo’ said: “Thumbs up for the Chinese People’s Navy.”
