Baa-my Sheep High As Kites After Eating 100 Kilos Of Cannabis

Hungry sheep turned into woolly jumpers after guzzling 100 kilogrammes of cannabis at a farm in Greece.

The flock had been driven to find new pastures when floods washed out their grazing land in Thessaly.

And they found a huge supply of the drug growing in a huge greenhouse at a neighbouring farm that supplies medical-grade cannabis to the health industry.

The sheep were apparently so high that they began jumping up and down.

Farmer Yannis Bourounis, who grew the crop, said: “I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. We are the largest greenhouse hemp plantation in Central Eastern Europe.”

He added: “We had the heat, we lost a lot of our production. Then we had the floods, and we lost 80 per cent of our production.

“And the best part? After all this, a herd of sheep, which I don’t know how they got in, entered the facility and started eating what was left. I don’t know what to say.

“The sheep were not only full, but they enjoyed it madly and started jumping higher than the goats.

“I am very well, but the sheep are better, full of madness. They see everything beautifully.”

Many parts of Greece suffered severe flooding during Storm Daniel, the deadliest and costliest Mediterranean tropical-style cyclone ever recorded.
