British Man Dies After Falling From 7th Floor In Ibiza

A 36-year-old British man has died today after falling from the seventh floor of a building in Ibiza.

Local emergency services report the incident took place in a building known as Torre de San Rafael on Vara de Rey street in the town of San Antoni, a popular resort on the western coast of the Spanish island of Ibiza, one of the Spanish Balearic Islands.

A spokesman of the Spanish Civil Guard confirmed that the British man, whose initials are C.J.N., fell from a building on Vara del Rey street and he told Central European News (CEN): “It is unknown if he was with friends or anything else as the case is being investigated.”

The victim was of British nationality and he fell from the top of the building to an inner courtyard, according to reports.

According to local media, the fall happened at 2.05 am and an ambulance from UVI (Spanish Intensive Surveillance Unit) went to the scene along with officers from the Civil Guard and the local police. 

According to local police, the paramedics could not do anything to save the man’s life as the injuries were fatal. It is currently unclear if the man passed away at the scene or in hospital.

The Judicial Police of the Civil Guard are investigating the incident.
