The pregnant teenage Russian girl who claimed that the father of her unborn child was a 10-year-old boy has been hospitalised during her 31st week with concerns the baby could be born prematurely.
Schoolgirl mum-to-be Daria ‘Dasha’ Rubchinskaya, who lives in the Siberian closed town of Zheleznogorsk in the south-central Russian region of Krasnoyarsk Krai, became famous after she claimed she fell pregnant by a 10-year-old boy when she was aged 13.
Now 14 years old, Rubchinskaya later revealed that she had allegedly been raped by a 16-year-old boy after doctors said that it was not possible for her to be impregnated by a 10-year-old.
She said: “How it all happened, I don’t know. It hurts to try to remember. For a long time, I couldn’t do anything. I felt scared and lonely. The saddest thing was that I could not tell anyone.
“That person is 16 years old and he is very fat for his age, and tall. The worst thing is that he lives in my town which is very small.
“I’m scared to bump into him on the street. All this happened in November on the stairwell. It was quite dark and no one was around to help.”
According to reports, the girl’s family filed a complaint with the police and the teenage suspect has been placed under house arrest while the investigation continues.
He also reportedly admitted his guilt in the rape incident.
The young victim revealed that she is expecting a baby girl back in April. The mum-to-be has already picked out the name Carolina for when she is born.
Rubchinskaya has bizarrely said she will raise her daughter with her 10-year-old partner Sasha.
She added: “Will he accept paternity? He said he would. He loves my baby and will be her father.”
The baby is due in August, however, the pregnant girl has now been hospitalised with fears that the infant could be born prematurely.
Rubchinskaya said: “I am in the 31st week and I’m scared like never before. I feel scared before I even get out of bed, you never know what will happen. I was told not to go out, but I try to walk as slowly as possible.
“Now doctors tell me that I may not make it to August, but I will try my best to carry my baby full term.”
