A skilled artist creates a perfect replica of the famous Mona Lisa on the side of the street using just coloured chalk.
The scene reportedly attracted countless passersby who could not help but stop and look at the masterpiece being recreated on a pavement in the city of Hangzhou, in China’s eastern Zhejiang Province.
The artist, reportedly an elderly man, whose identity was not revealed, used nothing but a few sticks of colourful chalk to bring the art to life just from memory, as seen in phone footage shared on Douyin, the Chinese TikTok, on 23rd April.
Online commentators like ‘Ten Thousand Eighty Thousand Yuan’ said: “Experts are among the regular people.”
And user ‘Yang Guixi’ said: “To be honest, such a master should be invited to various schools to teach painting to students and teachers. This is his destination.”
While the user ‘I Am Guo Shishi’ said: “Not everyone has talent, I really like it.”
