Huge Alligator Attacks Woman On Her Front Porch

An eight-foot alligator has been captured after it lashed a woman with its powerful tail after munching on dog food left on her front porch.

Officials in Texas, USA, rushed to lure the gator away from the family home in Humble, near Houston, after the terrified house owner called for help on 2nd May.

Constable Mark Herman of Harris County Constable Precinct 4 shared images of the huge reptile on social media with the message: “Happening now!

“Constable Deputies responded to the 19700 block of Bolton Bridge Lane in reference to an unwanted guest, an 8 foot alligator!

“Texas Parks and Wildlife are on scene and will relocate the alligator back into his natural habitat.”

According to reports, the alligator appeared on the female resident’s porch and officials arrived on the scene at around 1.40pm.

The reptile was reportedly snacking on dog food left outside the house.

The woman, name not disclosed, got close enough to the animal that it struck her leg with a swish of its tail.

Alligator wrangler Tim Deramus said the eight-foot reptile was captured and removed from the woman’s home after around an hour.

Texas Parks and Wildlife officials arrived on the scene and released the animal back into its natural habitat.
