This is the mysterious circular UFO above a 7,000-foot volcano that has stumped local residents.
The strange sighting occurred above the San Miguel volcano, also known as Chaparrastique, near the city of San Miguel in central-eastern El Salvador and was shared online by former mayor Will Salgado.

Video footage shows the large pulsating light penetrating the night sky before mysteriously vanishing.
In another clip, the unidentified flying object is seen in the sky as a group of children play football on an outside court.
Salgado called it a “big and powerful light”.
A former mayor also claimed that the local authorities will say that it was a flare, but he believes it was too bright for that.
According to local media, many local residents spotted the mysterious glow and shared images on social media.
Netizen ‘Guty’ commented: “I also witnessed that very strange moment.”
‘Carlos Hernandez’ added: “My family saw the UFO and did not how to describe it to me. This video confirms what they told me, although nothing has changed – we still do not know what it was.”
San Miguel is a stratovolcano in central-eastern El Salvador and is considered one of the most active volcanoes in the small Central American country.
