A Facebook user has been widely mocked for trying to sell his dead granddad’s dentures on the social network for 260 GBP.
The advert was posted on Facebook by netizen ‘Miroslav Mile Timotijevic’, who hails from the city of Nis in the south-eastern Serbian district of Nisava, where it has been widely circulated.
The seller accompanied a photo of the fake teeth with the message: “I am selling the dentures complete (top and bottom). Like new, used only for two months before my grandfather died.
“They served him well. I believe with a little correction from a dentist, they can serve someone else well. All other information is on the box.”
‘Miroslav Mile Timotijevic’ is hoping to fetch 300 EUR (259 GBP) for the fake teeth.
However, the sales item did not receive the interest that Timotijevic may have hoped for and netizens slammed his bizarre ad.
‘Bojana Plackovic’ commented: “I would never put someone else’s dentures in my mouth, it is too personal.”
‘Almira Vasek’ said: “I thought I had seen everything and then this was posted…”
‘Mirjana Mima’ wrote: “After seeing this advert, I am at a loss for words.”
‘Dejan Mladenovic’ remarked: “What is your lowest price for them?”
‘Rankovic Andjelko Kosnice’ joked: “Do you organise home delivery?”
