This child street seller was hit by a car whilst flogging tissues at traffic lights before his heartless dad allegedly kidnapped him from the hospital to force him back to work.
Nine-year-old Taha Ceddo, of Syrian origin, was hit by a car whilst selling handkerchiefs at a set of traffic lights in the Osmangazi district of Bursa province of Turkey.
Local media report Taha had stepped out into the street in front of the car, with reports identifying the driver as F.Y.
Images show Taha lying on the ground and being treated by paramedics before he was taken to the Bursa Specialization Training and Research Hospital in an ambulance.
However, report state the boy’s father, Faysal Ceddo, took Taha away from the hospital that evening despite the boy’s treatment not having finished in order to force him to get back to work.
Faysal is said to force all five of his children to work on the streets, with the police saying he beats them if they do not do what he says.
An investigation has been launched to find Faysal Ceddo whilst F.Y. was released from detention after 24 hours as nobody had filed a criminal complaint against him.
