Cute Bear Cub Looks For Key To Open Door For Food

This is the moment a bear cub whose mother was killed by illegal hunters tries to open a door on her hind legs and looks under the doormat for the key because she knows her food is kept inside.

The three-month-old female bear cub, named Masha, is an attraction in the village of Gornja Paklenica in the municipality of Doboj in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina after her mother was killed during an illegal hunt on the mountain of Ozren.

The cute cub reportedly drinks at least four bottles of milk with biscuits and she apparently knows where the food is kept. In the video, the adorable cub can be seen on her hind legs working to open a padlock into the room where her food is kept.

The clever cub also knows that the key is kept under the doormat and she can be seen searching under it for the key.

Another clip shows Masha playing with a dog and the President of the City Combat Organisation Doboj, Petar Tubic, who tamed the bear cub, said: “She learned many things, so she knows that under the doormat I’m keeping the key to the cottage where her food is. She still acts like a baby, so a bottle with milk is the main thing for her nutrition.”

He added that now he has to provide her with food for the winter because she will grow up. He will reportedly take care of her until she has been found a place to stay.

Netizen ‘Aleksandar Jovanovic’ commented: “A beautiful view.”
