11 Hr Trip Bouncing Up French Mountain On Space Hopper

This is the moment a man spends 11 hours bouncing to the top of a mountain in the French Pyrenees on a space hopper.

The space hopper is a kid’s toy patented in 1968 by an Italian company and introduced in the UK a year later, where they became widely popular, They are often referred to as one of the defining symbols of the 1970s.

Glenn Valentin, who comes from the municipality of Ypres in the Belgian province of West Flanders, carried out the stunt to raise money for the Association Petits Princes, the French equivalent of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

According to local media, Glenn spent 11 hours bouncing up the Col du Tourmalet, the highest paved mountain pass in the French Pyrenees on the kid’s toy.

At over 2,000 meters high, it is the most climbed mountain in the region after becoming famous due to the Tour de France cycling race.

In the first video, Glenn is seen shuffling along the side of the road in cold, damp weather while wrapped up in a jacket and sports clothing.

The second clip shows the Belgian bouncing along the Col du Tourmalet in sunnier climes in a sports vest.
At Glenn slowly passes a lush green valley, he talks to the cameraperson alongside him with a smile on his face.

Glenn has been posting updates of his fundraising stunt on Instagram where he calls himself an “Adventurer / Dreamer / CreativeAnimal”.
