This is the shocking moment a man sprints up behind a woman walking along a pavement and punches her in the head, sending her crashing into a parked car before she collapses to the ground.

The footage was obtained from a security camera in the district of Sisli, in the Turkish city of Istanbul, and shows the incident on 15th July.
Sabahat A., 59, was walking through the Gulbahar neighbourhood at around 7.30pm when the attacker struck her from behind without warning, reportedly.
The video shows the man running up behind her and landing a heavy punch to the back of her head, causing her to lose her balance, strike a parked vehicle and fall to the pavement.

She is then seen slowly getting back to her feet and staring after the attacker, who calmly walks away from the scene on foot.
Police launched an investigation after the incident was reported and are reviewing the CCTV footage in an effort to identify and track down the suspect, whose identity remains unknown.
