Woman Dumps Used Sanitary Towel In 5-Star Hotel Kettle

These stomach-churning images show a used sanitary town allegedly dumped in a hotel room by a 23-year-old guest after it was unearthed by a cleaner.

The incident took place at the five-star Nanning Hotel in the city of Nanning located in the south-eastern Chinese province of Guangxi after Ms Huang reportedly placed the item in the room’s kettle.

Ironically, Ms Huang had managed to throw the towel’s packaging away correctly in the nearby bin.

According to local media, hotel cleaner Ms Lu found the item while she was cleaning the room and reported it to her supervisors.

Ms Lu said: “I found the sanitary towel in the kettle when I was cleaning the room, the package was in the rubbish bin.”

Hotel staff discovered that the room was last used by a 23-year-old woman and her friend.

Hotel manager Ms Chen Bing commented: “We called the guest and she admitted to putting the sanitary towel in the kettle. It’s an insult to the entire hotel industry. We ask that she apologises to us in public.”

The police were called to speak with Ms Huang who admitted that she did it and officers suggested that she should apologise to the hotel, according to reports.

After mediation, the hotel and Ms Huang organised a meeting at the hotel two days later and the local press were invited along as well.

However, the 23-year-old woman reportedly failed to show for the meeting.

After the client’s no-show, the police said that the next step will be “handled by the hotel and Ms Huang. It is not our business.”
