Vogue Russia Trolled For US Male Ballet Dancer In Frock

Trolls have slammed Vogue Russia after American dancer David Hallberg was pictured wearing a dress and flesh-coloured undies in a daring photo shoot.

David Hallberg, a principal dancer for the Russian Bolshoi Theatre and American Ballet Theatre School, was snapped wearing a black couture dress in one photo shared on Vogue Russia’s Instagram page.

The 37-year-old dancer was also photographed sitting on a bed in a pink and white shirt and no trousers while a third snap shows him sipping a hot drink while sporting flesh-coloured undies.

Many Vogue followers slammed the photoshoot, with ‘Irinaivanova9777’ commenting: “I think this is too much for this kind of publication. This is LGBT propaganda! How can anyone raise a boy to become a real man after seeing this?”

‘Yanatalka’ said: “David has such an extraordinary and energetic look, I love him so much, but in these pictures I see an uncomfortable boy rather than a top ballet star. It is a shame that a fashion magazine has such a vision for the Bolshoi star.”

However, ‘KisFood’ wrote: “Strong appearance. It’s always a delight for me when people take pictures or dress in a way that people are not used to. His pictures have an amazing energy that not every guy can do. I like the photos, they are extraordinary.”

Netizen ‘Lambienx’ said: “A true pleasure and delight.”
