Viral Moment Proud Mum Hears Daughters Voice On Train PA

This is the viral footage viewed by over four million people of a proud mother’s reaction to her voice artist daughter’s recorded announcement on a Japanese bullet train.

The incident was filmed on the Tokaido Shinkansen high-speed line between the central Japanese capital Tokyo and the southern city of Osaka.

The video was posted on Twitter by the Australian singer and voice artist Donna Burke where it has gone viral with over four million views.

In the footage, Burke talks to the camera as a Japanese announcement is heard in the background.

Her recorded version in English then plays on the speaker system and Burke’s elderly mother is seen grinning with pride.

The mum then claps her hands and says: “That is my daughter talking.”

Burke replies: “Yes, I’ve got a lovely voice.”

According to local media, the Australian vocalist has recorded songs for the Metal Gear video game series and boasts voice credits on other games such as Silent Hill 3 and Bloody Roar 4.

She also has soundtrack credits on games such as God Eater and The Last Remnant.

Currently based in Tokyo, Burke has featured on a number of Japanese commercials including for Nissan, Panasonic and Sony.
