Two-Faced Mutant Piglet Born In Colombia

This is the mutant piglet which was born with two faces in a Colombian village leading local churches to issue a warning.

The pig was born in the municipality of San Marcos, in the northern Colombian department of Sucre and its owner told local media that the grey pig suffered a genetic issue that caused it to be born with the mutations.

Local outlet Sucre Comunicacion first reported on the birth of the unusual pig.

The photos show how the pig was born with two faces and two noses.

Local media report the pig was born “with two sexes” although further information was not available.

Experts believe the mutations could have been caused by its parents sharing the same ancestors.

Local media report the case may be studied by the Institute Agropecuario, an official institution which safeguards farming and livestock rearing standards in Colombia.

A spokesman for the local churches made a call to citizens to pray in order to protect the population from superstitions linked with paranormal activities.

Reports state the pig has now died.

Netizen ‘Dering Manjarrez’ said: “Genetic malformation is something normal that could happen to a being…”

And ‘Dario Enrique Diaz Argel’ added: “I am really concerned about this, and it is even scaring me, not because it is caused by spirits or Satan, it is because a lot of animals are being born like this (pigs, chickens, ducks, calves, etc). I am worried that this could be the consequence of pollution not only of the air, but also in rivers, or mining. I am worried about the radiation in the air, as this could make a lot of humans sick.”
