These pictures taken by plainclothes police officers show Turkish wedding guests blocking a German motorway with fancy sports cars right in front of their unmarked vehicle.
The incident took place on the busy A3 motorway linking Dusseldorf and Cologne, the two most populous cities in the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
According to the Dusseldorf police, the wedding convoy blocked the motorway to film some unusual wedding footage.
Reports said that plainclothes cops in an unmarked car saw two Porsches and an Audi R8 driving slowly alongside each other on three adjacent lanes, thereby blocking the traffic behind them.
They then slowly decreased their speed until finally coming to a stop.
The groom was reportedly sitting in the Audi alongside a large wedding bouquet.
The plainclothes cops reportedly then witnessed a Ford Mustang squeezing past the three cars to perform drift tricks in front of them on the motorway.
Meanwhile, wedding guests jumped out of the other cars and filmed the Mustang driver performing doughnuts, according to reports.
When the group noticed the cops, they all reportedly jumped into their respective vehicles and drove off.
A police spokesman said: “We stopped two cars shortly afterwards at the Ratingen Ost junction.
“One of them told us that they do not need to worry because ‘he knows a good lawyer’.
“All drivers and passengers have denied any wrongdoing and said that they have already called their lawyers.”
Meanwhile, the police have confirmed that they have launched an investigation into the wedding guests on suspicion of coercion and endangering other road users.
The German state of North Rhine-Westphalia is home to a large number of people of Turkish descent.
During Turkish weddings, it is common for guests to rent expensive sports cars and take the married couple for a thrilling ride.
