Trans Insta Star Responds To Muslim Preacher Boycott

A Malaysian trans influencer has denied prostituting herself on social media after a Muslim preacher called her bikini snaps “porn”, and demanded that netizens boycott her.

The 35-year-old cosmetics entrepreneur, who is reported to have been born male, has often been criticised by Malaysia’s religious authorities over her gender identity.

Reports said that an alleged copy of her passport appeared on the internet that showed her original name as Muhammad Sajjad Kamaruz Zama.

She now identifies as Nur Sajat Kamaruzzaman, better known simply as Nur Sajat.

The Malaysian influencer, who boasts 1.5 million followers on Instagram alone, posted several snaps of her showing off her figure in an olive green bikini ahead of her beach holiday.

She revealed that she had been wearing a girdle and wanted to show off the results to fans.

It is one of the few times the trans woman has posted photos of herself not fully clothed.

However, a religious preacher known as Amin, 30, real name Mohamad Amirul Amin, posted screenshots of the influencer’s bikini snaps with the caption “porn, boycott”.

Amin wrote for his 500,000 followers: “It’s strange that so many people still follow her and buy her products when she’s actually ruining the future generation with these pornographic images.

“Let’s boycott her!”

Following the online criticism, Nur Sajat said in response: “I’m not prostituting myself on social media, but merely sharing what I like to wear and appreciating my natural beauty.

“I don’t understand why my bikini photos would cause anyone to boycott me like I committed a crime.

“I’m upset that I have become a target for cyber-bullies even though there are sexier women on social media.”

The trans influencer added: “I’m sorry if I have offended anyone. I had no intention of doing that.”

She later turned off the comments section but kept the photos up in Instagram Stories.
