Tourists Arrive At Holiday Island In James Bond Jeep-Boat

This is the moment a group of tourists cross the sea to a holiday island in a jeep-boat mirroring a scene from James Bond hit, ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’.

The amphibious car, which stumped beachgoers in the footage, was filmed arriving on the island of Ciovo in southern Croatia.

The video was shared on Facebook by netizen ‘Viktorija CroNed’ where it has been seen 32,000 times.

She wrote: “Here, my guests were worried about reaching Villa MiMi because of the lack of infrastructure in Mastrinka (village), so they made sure they were ready for all conditions from Tilburg (city in the Netherlands) to Trogir (Croatian coastal town) and were fully-equipped.”

Netizen ‘Ivana Andric’ commented: “I think James Bond has just arrived in Ciovo.”

‘Villa Edita’ wrote: “Smart tourists!”

‘Tomislava Mamut’ said: “This is sensational!”

The unusual scene resembles the moment James Bond drives a custom-built submarine in the shape of a Lotus Esprit S1 sports car in the 1977 film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’.

Amphibious cars have also been featured on ‘Top Gear’ and in one episode, the presenters attempted to cross the English Channel.

Jeremy Clarkson made it across in an amphibious Nissan pickup, but failed to break the record set by Richard Branson for crossing the Channel in an amphibious vehicle.
