As one bald child runs in for a tackle, the tallest patient kicks the ball ‘upfield’ and it is seen bouncing off the wall and hitting a cute boy on the head.

As onlookers laugh, the sweet boy toddles over to a woman for a cuddle.

Meanwhile, a worker takes his place and the indoor game resumes.

The video has been seen over 10,000 times on Facebook with netizens moved by the brave young patients enjoying a football game with hard-working hospital staff.

Netizen ‘JA’ commented: “Oh life, why are you so cruel? I wish you all a full recovery and that you get to play on a real pitch someday.”

‘Dejan Mladenovic’ wrote: ‘Such sweet children. I really hope you all recover soon.”

‘Ja’ said: “I maybe a bloke, but I think I am about to cry.”
