In the video, the pair can be seen waving goodbye to fans when Wisin, 40, turns to walk back down the stage but he misses the narrow platform behind him and falls off the stage.

Dancers and workers then rush down off the stage to help the singer to his feet and he hobbles away with his arms around two others.

Wisin, real name Juan Luis Morera Luna, was hospitalised in the incident, and he wrote on social media: “Sometimes there are situations that are out of our hands. Thank God it was not worse. There are only a few small battle wounds but like always we get up and carry on.”

The singer added that we would be ready to perform in the next show of their ‘Como Antes’ (Like Before) tour in Laredo, Texas.

Wisin is known for his work as a coach on the Spanish-language version of the American talent show The Voice.
