This is the shocking moment a teenage motorcyclist rides up to a factory as an explosive he was preparing to hurl at the building detonates in his hand after he lights the fuse.

The footage was obtained from a security camera in the district of Silivri, in the Turkish province of Istanbul, and shows the incident on 20th July.
The 17-year-old suspect, identified only by the initials A. H. O., arrived at a recycling plant in the Ortakoy Industrial Zone at night carrying the device, though the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
The video shows him pulling up on the motorcycle before a bright flash erupts in his hand as the explosive goes off prematurely.

The blast severed his fingers, forcing him to make his own way to Buyukcekmece Mimar Sinan State Hospital, where he was given initial treatment before being transferred by ambulance to Basaksehir Cam and Sakura City Hospital.
Officers detained him at the second hospital after he described the incident to medical staff, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
