Stray Dog Patiently Waits Outside KFC For Its Dinner

This image shows a stray dog that patiently waits outside a KFC restaurant for its dinner every day at the close of business.

The dog, named Guero but nicknamed Pikachu by the KFC employees, can be seen outside the restaurant in the San Pablo de las Salinas colony, in the Mexican state of Mexico waiting for its dinner every night.

The pooch was reportedly fed one day by the restaurant staff and since then has returned to the premises every evening for dinner.

The KFC workers say the dog is affectionate and honest.

Cesar Alberto Olivares, who manages the Facebook account ‘Solovino’, where the snap of the dog was widely shared from, told Central European News (CEN) that the dog is a stray as its owner had died, but local residents now often feed it thanks to the social media post.

The dog is commonly seen in the area

He said: “Several people offered to give it a name and a collar and pay for its sterilisation, it likes to sleep and rest with different neighbours of the area, but it does not like to stay in the same place.

“It enjoys living with different neighbours at the same time and enjoys being with other dogs in the street.”

One netizen shared a snap of the pooch in her home saying it often goes to her house to rest because it is “lazy”.

The KFC workers are reportedly trying to find a vet to treat the pooch for an injury it has suffered to one of its legs.

The picture was shared more than 3,700 times and received over 1,000 comments from netizens.

‘Anngy Barcenas’ commented: “Two months ago I came across a dog next to the KFC, it was waiting outside the place to be fed.”

‘Elena Espinoza Arce’ said: “This action makes me believe in humanity. God bless you. Thanks for being human and good with this little dog.”

‘Carmen Angeles’ added: “God bless those angles feeding him. I wish somebody would adopt him as the street is very dangerous.”
