The Ananova Source Library is a secure evidence archive used by accredited journalists and partner media organisations. It holds documents, data and background material that support their reporting and investigations.

The Source Library is not a browsable or searchable database. There is no public index of what it contains. Individual items can only be accessed:

  • via a link inside an Ananova article or partner publication, or
  • via a direct URL shared by an accredited journalist or partner outlet.

Every item in the Source Library has been uploaded and validated by the journalist or organisation responsible for it as a genuine and accurate document. The content and any claims made in those documents are the sole responsibility of the uploader.

The Source Library exists to provide transparency and proof-of-work for professional reporting, not to function as a general public records search.

To apply for access to upload documents to the Source Library, you need to be either:

  • a publisher partner, or
  • an accredited journalist and holder of an Ananova / NewsX Press Card.

You can find more information and apply via our press card platform at journo-lists.com.
