This house up for sale at a tourist destination in Indonesia comes with a ready-made family for the buyer, including a single mum and her two young children.
The 31-year-old mother of two, Ayu Novi Astiana, is selling her house in the regency of West Bandung, in the southwestern Indonesian province of West Java. The area includes popular tourist attractions like Lembang, famous for its clean air and also Mount Tangkuban Parahu.
In an interview with national news outlet Tribunnews, Ayu said: “I want to sell the house to fund my business and for savings for my children.
“If the buyer ends up being someone compatible with me, why not make him my husband as well?”
Ayu explained: “The idea came from my neighbour who said that since I wanted to sell my house, why not find a husband at the same time? I was embarrassed at first but then after thinking about it, I thought why not give it a try?”
According to Tribunnews Ayu wants to find a man who is single and responsible.
She said: “Certainly they have to be single, someone else’s husband becomes a problem. Then compatible, responsible, and willing to accept my children. I don’t want it to fail again. I was only married for four years and finally divorced from my husband last May.”
Ayu says she has shared the post with her house for sale and possible marriage offer on her social media account various times although up until now there have been no serious bidders.

She added: “So far, it’s just asking questions, it’s not serious. On social media too, but no one has come directly. The hope is that the house can be sold soon and hopefully, a good husband will be found too.”
Her house is ​​52 metres squared (174 ft squared) and is up for sale for 250 million IDR (12,998 GBP).
