Shocking Moment Pirate Ship Crashes Into Loved-Up Couple On Stationary Jet Ski

This is the moment a tourist “pirate ship” ploughs into a couple kissing on a stationary jet ski, sending it jolting through the water in a busy beach channel.

The incident happened at Central Beach in Balneario Camboriu city, Santa Catarina state, Brazil, on 15th March.

Video shows the jet ski sitting motionless in the water as a man and woman face each other and kiss, seemingly unaware of the danger approaching.

The large tourist boat, styled as a pirate ship, continues on its course and crashes directly into the smaller craft.

The impact is captured clearly on camera as the vessel bears down on the jet ski, which had been stationary in a navigation channel.

Shouts can be heard from people nearby, apparently trying to warn the crew moments before the collision, but the boat does not stop in time.

According to local reports, the couple escaped without serious injuries despite the force of the crash.

The woman, aged 30, suffered head abrasions and required medical treatment, while the men did not sustain harm.

Emergency responders attended the scene and the woman was taken to a medical unit for further care.

The collision took place in a busy stretch of water used by tourist vessels and personal watercraft.

In a statement, the company operating the “Barco Pirata” (“Pirate Ship”) said the jet ski was not within the vessel’s field of vision and that boats of that size require time and distance to carry out evasive manoeuvres.

The company added that the vessel was navigating within the designated channel and has notified the Brazilian Navy which would carry out the investigation, stating it will cooperate fully.
