Schoolboy Missing After Row With Parents Over Homework

German cops have appealed for help after a schoolboy in a quarantine city ran away from home after a row with his parents over homework.

German police have issued this picture of the 13-year-old, identified only as Alexander H, who ran away from his home in the town of Troisdorf in North Rhine Westphalia earlier this week.

They said he was last seen by his parents in his bedroom at around 10pm hours, but then he had sneaked out of the house taking his telephone with him.

But he had removed the sim card and left it on the table.

Police were trying to track his movements so that he had a school travel pass and that there had been reports that he had appeared in Bonn and Cologne.

The youngster is 1.64 metres high, thin and has pale skin.

They said he was wearing a pullover from Hollister, had a black winter jacket and dark blue jeans with Adidas black green training shoes.

Anyone who thinks they might have seen the youngster is asked to contact the police.
