This is the moment a bull gores a horse before the injured animal throws its rider to the ground during a Spanish bull running event.
The incident took place during a bull running week in the municipality of Segorbe in the province of Castellon in the autonomous community of Valencia in eastern Spain.
The horseman, identified as Baldomero Chova, was reportedly injured when he fell from the saddle during the ‘bulls and horses’ event.

The bull gored the horse in the buttocks and before attacking another horse without causing it harm.
According to local media, Chova maintained consciousness at all times, and was transferred to hospital with trauma in the abdominal area and mild head trauma.
The same bull then tried to gore another horse but its horseman avoided it, according to local media.
The Mayor of Segorbe Carmen Climent reportedly said that the injured horse was later treated at a nearby vet’s clinic.
The condition of the first gored horse is not clear.
