Radio Presenter Shot In Head While Leaving Bar

This popular Mexican radio presenter has been shot dead by a mystery gunman after leaving a bar where he also worked as an entertainer.

Gitler Oseguera Barrera, better known as Tazito, was killed outside Free bar in the city of Morelia in the central Mexican state of Michoacan where he also worked as an entertainer.

According to local media, Oseguera Barrera, who presented shows for different radio stations such as La Zeta and Tremenda, was shot in the head by a mystery gunman and was left on the ground next to his car.

His body was spotted by passersby who called the emergency services. Police officers and paramedics arrived on the scene, but could only confirm his death.

Reports said the area was cordoned off by the police who gathered evidence for the ongoing investigation.

Oseguera Barrera’s corpse was taken to a nearby forensics facility to undergo an autopsy, and his relatives have identified the body.

The reason behind the alleged shooting is still unclear, and no arrests have taken place yet as the investigation continues.

According to local media, 16 journalists have been killed under Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s presidency, which began in December 2018.
