Mum Whose Hands Hacked Off By Hubby Only Paid 2.4 GBP

The pretty Russian mother whose hands were hacked off by her former husband with an axe has revealed her ex has only paid her 2.4 GBP in spousal maintenance since their divorce.

Margarita Grachyova, 26, had her hands hacked off by her husband Dmitry, from Serpukhov in Moscow Oblast in western Russia, in December 2017 after he accused her of being unfaithful.

Her left hand was sewn back on after the attack while her right hand is now what has been dubbed a “bionic arm”.

She has now said she has only been paid her 200 RUB (2.4 GBP) in alimony after their divorce in November 2018.

She wrote on social media: “I don’t even know how to start spending this money. Maybe I should buy 5 litres of gas or should I pay one 17th part of my son’s monthly nursery fee?!”

Speaking about the attack previously, she said “We simply shared a flat. We would get home from work, eat, and would go to bed. Everyone was occupied with their own things.

“I decided that it was time for us to divorce in autumn (2017). I did not want to deprive my children of their father and thought that we would raise them together, as loving parents.”

The moment she told Dmitry about her plans, she says her life turned into a living hell, adding: “He got mad for me doing my nails, he suspected me of different things when I’d wear underwear matching in colour. He was angry that I got a promotion at work.”

Her husband was handed a 14-year jail sentence for the attack.

Margarita released her autobiography entitled ‘Happy Without Hands’ last year.
