Cops who turned up when a family of bears were reported in a suburban area decided to sit and watch these two cubs enjoy a bit of play fighting before moving them on from a lawn in California.
The incident was filmed in the city of La Canada Flintridge in Crescenta Valley in the county of Los Angeles located in the US state of California and the footage was shared on 30th September.
LA County police saw the bear cubs frolicking on the grass as their mother roamed nearby when they were called out to La Canada Flintridge recently.
Lucky for the cops, it was not necessary to try and get the best to move on because the family left the urban area shortly afterwards and returned to the forest without intervention.
The footage shows the young bears enjoying a wrestling match on the lawn in the middle of the day.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) said on Twitter: “Our Deputies responded to a call in regarding bears in a neighbourhood.
“They saw these two cute cubs having a little fun. We decided to let the sibling rivalry play out since momma bear was in the area.”
The local police added: “Thankfully, the whole family went back up to the forest.”
