This is the moment a woman is dragged into a car by kidnappers outside her home as a desperate neighbour leaps onto the fleeing vehicle in an attempt to stop the abduction.
The incident happened in the city of Guayaquil, in Guayas Province, Ecuador, on 4th March.
Video shows the 45-year-old victim, identified in reports as Marisol G., being ambushed outside her house as she attempts to enter the property.
A man suddenly approaches from behind and grabs her, forcing her toward a waiting car parked nearby.
The woman can be heard desperately pleading for help as she struggles with the attacker while she is pushed toward the vehicle.
Her cries alert several neighbours, who rush out of nearby homes and attempt to intervene.
Moments later, two additional men appear and climb into the car, joining the attack and helping force the woman into the vehicle.
One neighbour runs toward the moving car and climbs onto it as the driver begins to speed away.
Despite the effort, the vehicle accelerates and escapes at speed with the victim inside.
A police source in Guayaquil confirmed that investigators from the National Anti-Kidnapping and Extortion Unit (UNASE) were deployed to investigate the case.

A local resident stated there had been no recent reports of extortion or similar criminal activity in the area and that the motive for the kidnapping remained unknown.
Family members of the woman said they were still waiting for any communication or ransom demand that might reveal her whereabouts.
Ecuador’s National Police had not issued an official public statement on the case.
