This is the moment a man was caught on camera whipping his exhausted horse with a stick and kicking it because it was too tired to get to its feet.
An eyewitness with a smartphone filmed the man lashing and beating the poor animal in the city of Kayseri in central Turkey’s province of the same name.

The horse had been pulling a cart of papers along a road in the city but had become so tired it had simply laid down by the side of the road.
The man first tries to get the horse back up by pulling its feet into position but the animal would not stand up for him.
Its owner becomes increasingly annoyed, and starts hitting the unfortunate animal across its head and back with a thin whip-like stick.
And when that fails to have the desired effect, he kicks the horse on the side of its body.
A passerby can be heard asking the man: “Why are you hitting it, call the municipal police instead!”
But the horse owner ignores him and carries on trying to rouse the clearly exhausted horse.
The video of the incident sparked anger among animal lovers after it was shared on social media.
Netizen ‘Selva Sozen’ said: “I’m asking for divine justice on this one. I hope life will beat you and you will not be able to stand up.”
‘Rukiye Vardar’ commented: “I hope he breaks his own legs”, while ‘Dustin Ast’ noted sarcastically: “Great job man.”
There is no report on whether police are investigating the incident which happened in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, the historic centre of the city.
