Man Walks Onto Busy Bus With 2 Stolen Goats

This is the bizarre moment a man walks onto a busy Brazilian bus with two goats he had reportedly just stolen.

The bizarre scene took place on the bus rapid transit (BRT) system of the city of Rio de Janeiro in the south-eastern Brazilian state of the same name when the man walked onto the bus at the Praca Seca station.

In the clip, the man can be seen walking onto the bus just as the doors close, pulling a black goat on with him.

A white goat following them then hesitates before walking onto the bus behind them as stunned passengers look on.

Local news outlet ‘Globo’ report Ricardo Alves, the owner of the goats, had reported the two animals missing that day.

Alves said he had been looking after the two goats, named Manu and Elvira, since they were kids, and he has now made an appeal to have them returned.

Local media outlet ‘Informacoes RJ’ told Newsflash: “Situations like this sometimes occur (on the BRT), people are often seen carrying furniture and other objects (onto the buses).”

It is unclear if Alves has managed to recover the goats.

The BRT said that only animals weighing up to 10 kilogrammes (22 lbs) could be transported on the system and only in times outside of rush hours.
