Man Swings Boy Stuck Outside 5th-Floor Flat To Safety

This is the moment a brave onlooker swings a young boy who is stuck standing on a fifth-floor extractor pipe to safety using one arm after the lad climbed out a toilet window and became stuck.

The startling scene was recorded by an onlooker in the city of Grozny, the capital city of the Chechen Republic in south-eastern Russia.

Local media report the youngster, who has not been identified in reports but is said to be six years old, was spotted hanging from the window ledge on the fifth floor by onlookers and a rescue mission was started.

The police were called and in the video, the youngster can be seen perching on an extractor pipe as he holds onto the window ledge above.

An onlooker, who has been named in reports, then appears at a window next to the boy and steps out to try to rescue the youngster.

A policeman helps steady Dinaev as he leans across to grab the boy and swing him back to safety with one arm.

Onlookers yelp as the boy swings through the air and into the arms of the waiting police officer, named in reports as Adam Jamaev.

According to law enforcement, the boy had gone to the toilet in the building, which contains offices and shops, but the door jammed and he decided to get out through the window.

Passers-by spotted him on the air conditioning extractor pipe and called for help. No injuries were reported in the incident.
