According to local media, the absence of humans on the streets during the COVID-19 lockdown has led to a number of animals venturing into urban areas.

Netizen ‘RebecaLpezMald1’ commented: “I love it! Nature taking over.”

‘CastillaMontoro’ said: “We lost these simple little things because humans have owned the world.”

‘Marcos’ wrote: “Haha. Most Fridays you cannot even cross there as it is so overcrowded. I don’t want to imagine what it will be like the first Friday we’re allowed to go out of our homes!”

‘Angelcaido’ commented: “The poor ducks are probably starving. There is no food left on the ground or people feeding them every day. The city council is doing nothing to help them and we know they are not bothered on bit.”
