A teenager rated one of the world’s most beautiful woman has raised eyebrows after newly leaked photos revealed she had plastic surgery before her success as a beauty queen.
Sthefany Gutierrez, 19, was crowned Miss Venezuela 2017 and went on to be named second finalist in the international Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant.
But the stunning brunette has now attracted controversy after a plastic surgeon claimed some of the credit for her looks.
The pictures, released by Dr Froilan Paez, who is based in the country’s capital city of Caracas, shows the teenager with a markedly broader nose.
Dr Paez commented cryptically: “It’s not the nose, it’s not the size, it’s an integral beauty … the challenge is to get the best out of it.”
And he added that the demands of modern day beauty queens required a multidisciplinary approach, adding “from the hairstyle to the smallest detail in your nose, everything adds up”.
But the photographs showing the earlier appearance of the beauty queen quickly sparked a lively online debate.
One netizen commented: “She is another person”, while another added: “I was thinking her beauty was all natural. We definitely need money.”
‘Alexandradolceee’ added: “Wow, there is no doubt there are no ugly women, just poor women. Sorry, but you were not beautiful. Now you are, with such a lot of surgery, but before, no.”
But other fans made it clear Gutierrez still had their admiration.
‘Raybethcarolina’ said: “She got beautiful with her nosejob, but her figure, her way of walking, her work, her charisma are all her”, and ‘espanayorbely’ added: “Both (pictures) are beautiful.”
