This is the moment a supposedly brave ‘kung-fu bear’ shows off its ‘martial arts skills’ to a tractor driver before being scared off by a single toot of the horn.

The incident was filmed on the eastern Russian island of Sakhalin, the largest island of the Russian Federation located just north of Japan, and was shared on YouTube where it has been viewed 33,000 times.

In the footage, a small bear is seen standing on its hind legs while appearing to throw ‘punches’ and intimidate the unnamed tractor driver.

The man says: “How ‘huge’ you are? Come out to fight, come out to fight.”

The encounter between the man and bear

As the man laughs and seems to make fun of the small bear, it walks away but quickly returns.

Meanwhile, in the background two other bears are seen keeping out of the confrontation.

While the curious bear approaches the vehicle, the driver sounds the horn and the bear scurries off.

However, it approaches the man again and stands on its hind legs before the video ends.

Netizen ‘Vladimir Anatolyevich’ commented: “Now the bear will get used to the noise and technology and he will wait for you in the evening or early morning to get you!”

It is not known what type of bear it was.
