Kind Cops Care For Injured Girls Pet Found In Wreckage

This is the moment a kind traffic cop looks after a 10-year-old girl’s hamster while she is in hospital after finding the pet in a minibus crash that killed the driver and injured 12 others.

The minibus was reportedly involved in a collision with a Kia car on the Lopatkovo-Efremov motorway as it travelled from the cities of Tula and Lipetsk, both located in the western Russian regions of Tula Oblast and Lipetsk Oblast.

According to the local police, officers decided to take care of the cute hamster after finding it in the wreckage of the crashed minibus while inspecting the accident site.

According to reports, the minibus driver was killed in the accident while 12 others suffered injuries.

Law enforcement officers take care of hamster

The police found out that the furry rodent belongs to a 10-year-old girl who had been hospitalised with multiple injuries in the minibus crash and decided to look after it until she is better.

A police spokesperson said: “As a result [of the girl’s injuries], officers decided to take care of the hamster until she is discharged from hospital.

“Afterwards, they will return the pet to its owner.”
