Israeli COVID Carriers Party In Quarantine Hotels

These images show the parties taking place in Israel’s luxury quarantine hotels where young people confirmed to have the coronavirus are seen mingling.

The scenes were reportedly recorded at the Dan Panorama hotel in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, where COVID-19 carriers who have mild or no symptoms are being kept in quarantine.

In the video, the youngsters can be seen smiling and sitting together in a hotel room packed with balloons.

Another clip shows girls dancing in a room complete with nightclub-style lighting and footage shows the luxury rooms the virus carriers are being kept in, complete with sea views.

One of the carriers named Amit Katzav who is in one of the repurposed hotels told local media: “We are making lemonade out of lemons.

“It is approved by the management. We are trying to pass the time together in the best way we can.

“We’re already here at the hotel, and I think we should take it the best way possible, try to smile and be optimistic. Being sad will not help.”

Reports state there has been criticism of the parties with other COVID-19 sufferers dying in the country.

Israel has suffered 6, 211 confirmed cases of COVID-19, leading to 31 deaths, according to the latest figures from the Johns Hopkins University.
