This is the adorable moment when a panda tries to fix a water leak it caused by accidentally pulling out the plug at its enclosure.
The funny incident took place at a zoo in Chengdu – a city in south-western China’s Sichuan Province.
An unnamed witness managed to film the panda attempting to fix its mistake as it hilariously grappled with the plug to stop the water from gushing out.
Meanwhile, two of its companions stood by carelessly observing the panda’s attempt to remedy the situation.
The footage – which was shared on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok – shows the persistent bear pressing its paws on the leak as water keeps streaming upwards.
It apparently got completely soaked as it spared no effort to get things back in order.
But ultimately, the panda had to surrender and simply wait for zoo workers to fix the leak.
Netizens were amused by the mishap, and jokingly suggested the panda might have been giving itself a shower.
Douyin user ‘Latte No Added Sugar’ wrote: “Haha, it seems like a child who has done something wrong is trying to make up for it.”
And netizen ‘Qier’ commented: “It’s so funny to see the panda desperately clutching the water.”
