This is the dramatic rescue of a group of seven children and an adult who were left adrift on top of their boat at sea after the vessel capsized.
The incident took place in the bay of the city of Santander, in the northern Spanish region of Cantabria, near the area known as El Puntal and local media report seven children and their adult supervisor, none of whom have been named, were out in the boat from a local sailing school when it capsized.
The group then climbed on top of the overturned boat and nearby lifeguards spotted them, calling the emergency services.
Reports state the emergency services were carrying out rescue practices in the area and a helicopter from the government of Cantabria flew to the area as they were involved in practices alongside the Red Cross.
In the video shot from the helicopter, a member of the Red Cross can be seen swimming towards the overturned boat. Reports state the rescuer had jumped from the Red Cross boat which can be seen in the video approaching the capsized vessel.
The stranded children and their supervisor are then prepared to move into the Red Cross boat as a jet ski carrying rescuers monitors the situation.
Local media report all eight people involved were rescued and all are perfectly healthy. The sailing school the group belonged too were reportedly responsible for pulling the ship out of the water.
It is unclear why the boat capsized.
