Gruesome Moment Man Who Sells Dog Meat To Restaurants Snatches Pet Border Collie

This is the moment a cruel man who sold dogs to restaurants lures a six-year-old pet Border Collie with a treat and bundles it into his car.

The dog, named Sima, was abducted from a yard while its owner was retrieving items, and the footage captured the suspect – later identified as Sergey Pay – coaxing the animal and forcing it into his vehicle, in the Moscow region of Russia on 7th November.

Investigators stated that Pay was charged under the article for cruelty to animals after the canine was found dead days later.

The family said Sima was taken from their garage area, where she had been walking without a lead.

Owner Olga Leonova said: “You can see that he’s actually making a trail of food. The dog picks it up and runs after him.

“You can see him bend down and put her in the car. He closes the door, they stand there for about two minutes, and then they drive off.”

Volunteer searchers and the owner’s posts online helped identify the suspect, and according to the Moscow city prosecutor’s office: “After the theft the perpetrator took the dog to a deserted location, where he, taking a knife and a hammer from the car, killed the animal.”

In 2019 Pay and his wife Luiza were implicated in disappearances of dogs in Stupino. Where police searching their car found around 20 collars, knives, rope and a barely alive dog named Jack.

At that time the couple were fined RUB 500,000 (GBP 4,650).

Pay is now accused in the latest episode, but volunteers believe he may also be connected to disappearances in the districts of Shcherbinka and Domodedovo.

The prosecutor’s office confirmed that the case has been opened under the cruelty to animals statute and the theft offence. Each carrying a possible sentence of up to five years in prison.

Authorities noted that Pay had previously appeared in police reports over dog thefts but had avoided significant punishment.
